Valentina E. Bălaş
Associate Prof. Valentina E. Bălaş, PhD, received an M. Sc. in Electronics (1980) and a Ph. D in Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications (2003) from “Politehnica” University of Timisoara. She is Associate Professor of Faculty of Engineering, Automation and Applied Software at Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad, Romania. Her current research interests include smart sensors with fuzzy technics, information fusion, fuzzy control. She published 3 books and 63 scientific papers in journals and conferences proceedings and she was member of the Program Committee of more than 30 international conferences. She has been general co-chair for 3 international conferences and guest editor for Journal of Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems, Springer Verlag - Studies in Computational Intelligence and Editor-in- Chief for International Journal of Advanced Intelligence Paradigms.


Andrei V. Stoica
Aged 22, Andrei maintains all technical aspects of the website. He came up with the idea for the project as an entry for his team in the IEEE CHC61 competition in 2007. Now he is responsible for all aspects regarding the operation of the website, including, but not limited to: PHP coding, database maintenace and optimisation, bugfixes as well as upgrades. Also, he doubles as a translator and writes articles, especially in the Computers Section. Scientific work includes several participations in the Imagine Cup Competion, as well as attendance to a few national conferences. Hobbies worth mentioning are trains, strategy gaming and science fiction.




Aura L. Rugea
Aura is 21 years old. She handles our interviews and other PR related issues within the team. Also, she is the lead reasearcher for the project, as well the author of many of the articles that appear on the website. Currently a student, Aura follows the courses of the Automatics and Applied Informatics Faculty. She recently graduated the Finances and Banking courses of the Economical Sciences of the "Aurel Vlaicu" University of Arad. Scientific work includes participations in the Imagine Cup competitions. Hobbies include maths and physycs, as well as flowers and cars.



Alex Ţigan

Alex is 21 years old. He is the lead English translator for the team; also he doubles as a researcher for the articles. Currently a student, Alex follows the courses of the Automatics and Applied Informatics Faculty. His scientific work includes several participations in the Imagine Cup Competitions, as well as attendance to a few national conferences. His hobbies are computer networks, model trains, driving and outdoor sports.




Kristina Drienovski

Kristina is 22 years old. She is the lead Slovak translator for the team, also she doubles as a researcher and PR related issues for the team. She currently is a student at the Accounting and database informatics. Her scientific work includes several participations in the Imagine Cup Competitions, and attendance to a few national conferences. Her hobbies are accounting, interior design, flowers and swimming.
